I am a photographer, visual storyteller and educator with over 15 years experience shooting portraits, politics, food and lifestyle, features, and stories, whatever you see in the newspaper. I am a graduate of Parsons School of Design, did a two year stint at the Corcoran College of Art and Design’s photojournalism program and attended the prestigious Eddie Adams Workshop. I practiced my craft as a staff photographer at Scripps Howard News Service in Washington D.C., The Patuxent Publishing Company in Baltimore and the Gannett owned News-Press in Southwest Florida.
My work has also appeared in USA Today, The San Francisco Chronicle, The Denver Post, The Associated Press and several other places, including my mom’s fridge door. I’ve been recognized by the National Press Photographers Association, Society for News Design, Parenting Publications of America contests and have exhibited in several galleries.
I currently live in central Taiwan photographing and telling cultural and human interest stories through my travels.
